Ironman Tim!
My name is Tim Thoma and I have been using Train-Smarter.com for six years. At a glance, this free site helps me keep track of my run miles, bike miles and yards in the pool. In addition to the distances, I can also track other important factors in my training like pace, heart rate, weight training and even weather conditions. It’s motivating and fun to watch the miles add up during the month, and to compare race performances from year to year. It’s also nice to see what some of my training partners are up to with their training even when we aren’t able to work out together. Whether you are an elite or every day athlete, this site has something for you. And best of all, it’s free!
Ted finishing at Square Lake
My name is Ted Dickey and I have been a Train-Smarter.com user for the last 6 years. Having used the site since its inception, I have watched the site evolve from just a very basic log to keep track of daily workouts with comments, to what it is today; a truely functional all around workout log that enables the user to easily keep track of not just the basic workout itself, but times, totals, events, as well as my favorite feature; the comments section. The log itself is very easy to use and can be used for any type of workout training plan, be it triathlon, marathon, weight training, or group fitness classes. I must be very honest in saying it's fun to use, keeps you on target for goal setting, and having the ability to go in and read others logs is not only motivating, and at times very funny, but lends itself to a certain kinship within the workout community to see what others are experiencing in their workout lives. Bottom line, the site is fun, flexible, easy to use, and its free! How great a deal is that? Use this great site and become accountable to yourself and others for your workouts, its amazing how motivating thinking about a blank day on your log can be!!
